Alumni Social and Basketball Game!
Many former basketball players from the 60's and 70's as well as other SCC alumni came out to mingle with and cheer on the new SCC Flyers basketball team on February 4th. It was a wonderful evening filled with old stories, yearbook photos, updates about the new team and the athletic program at Sandhills, and an exciting game against Central Carolina CC.
Over 30 guests gathered to meet and show their support for the new Athletic Director and basketball coach, Aaron Denton, the golf coaches, and a few of his basketball and volleyball players. Everyone had such a good time, plans are underway for another event.
