Sandhills Community College has brought athletics back to the college. Women's Volleyball started in the fall and they had a great first season.

The Flyers Basketball team is in the middle of their season and their record is currently 6-10. Aaron Denton, SCC Athletic Director and basketball coach, says "The team is really starting to pull together, work as a team, and we've starting to win some exciting games."

The team held a few Saturday morning basketball camps in the fall for local children interested in learning the sport or perfecting their skills. Fun was had by kids and Flyers players alike!
